Dads are invited to celebrate nature with their kids on Sunday, April 22, when Schlow Centre Region Library hosts Dads Do Earth Day from 1:30 to 4:30 PM in the library’s Downsbrough Community Room.
The event is being presented thanks to a partnership between Schlow and a group of local fathers that are part of the National Center for Fathering.
Dads and kids can make bird houses and bird feeders and decorate a pot and plant a tree seedling inside.
Also, take a picture of your family involved in any recycling activity and share it with @scholwlibrary on Twitter between now and April 22 with the hashtag #DadsDoEarthDay for any entry to win a prize book!
