The Centre County Historical Society invites the public to attend an exciting new summer event at the Centre Furnace Mansion: “Music Under the Sycamore” summer party featuring Pure Cane Sugar, on Sunday, August 12 at the Centre Furnace Mansion from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Reservation cost: $15.00 Per Ticket or $25 for two tickets
Bring your picnic blanket or lawn chairs and your lazy summer day attitude for an afternoon under the historic Sycamore tree! Enjoy good eats, good people and good music in the beautiful bucolic setting of the Centre Furnace Mansion, the birthplace of the Pennsylvania State University. The Centre Furnace Mansion, on the National Register of Historic Places, and surrounding gardens and grounds will all be open for people to explore and enjoy. Proceeds from Music Under the Sycamore benefit the Centre County Historical Society and its mission to help people to understand, experience, appreciate, and preserve our county’s cultural and natural heritage.
