The Opening Day of the Season at Penns Valley Area Historical Museum is at the Rudy Corman Building in Aaronsburg. New exhibits for the season include a period bedroom from 1900 titled “My Ladies Bedchamber” filled with vintage pieces, everyday items, and handcrafted needlework by women from Penns Valley including quilts, embroidery, crocheting, tatting and homespun linens. The Alcove features “Over There”, a tribute 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. The museum will be open Saturdays from 1-4 pm through October. To learn more visit PennsValleyMuseum.org.
