What’s For Dinner? Wild Edible Plants

June 29 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join Naturalist and licensed nutritionist Debbie Naha-Koretzky on June 29 at 6:30 pm at the Greenwood Furnace State Park Blacksmith shop and explore the wonderful world of wild edible plants. From dandelions to acorns, the fields and woods are filled with an abundance of edibles. This program will cover plant I.D., safe and sustainable harvesting, and incorporating wild plants into culinary dishes. In addition, we’ll learn just how good these plants are for us. Come out for a fun, inspiring and delicious foraging foray into the woods!  For information visit the park’s Facebook page at fb.me/greenwoodfurnaceSP or the park’s website at visitPAparks.com.
